劇場での映画の盗撮行為は「映画の盗撮の防止に関する法律」（映画盗撮防止法）により犯罪です。また、盗撮した映像をXやYouTube、TikTok、Facebook等にアップロードすることは著作権侵害にあたります。
映画盗撮防止法および著作権法に反して著作権侵害が行われた場合には、１０年以下の懲役もしくは１０００万円以下の罰金、またはその両方が科せられる可能性があります。
