It’s the Taisho period in Japan.

Tanjiro, a kind boy who sells charcoal for a living,
suddenly loses all of his family members; they are killed by a Demon.

Moreover, the only survivor, Nezuko, Tanjiro’s little sister, has been transformed into a Demon.

Although Tanjiro is devastated by the cruel reality,
he decides to pursue the path of “Demon Hunting” to turn his sister back into a human,
and avenge the Demon who killed his family.

“Let’s go to the Swordsmith Village!”

Inside the “Yukaku”, where Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke infiltrated,
they defeated the Upper Six, Daki and Gyutaro, with the help of Tengen Uzui.

While they go back to the mission after healing their wounds,
Tanjiro decides to visit Hotaru Haganezuka to get a new sword.

However, Upper Four, Hantengu, and Upper Five, Gyokko, have secretly infiltrated the Swordsmith Village,
which is supposed to be hidden away from the eyes of Demons.

Meanwhile,
Muzan Kibutsuji, unable to hide his intense irritation and impatience
at having killed an Upper Rank Demon for the first time in about a hundred years,
urgently summons the remaining Upper Rank Demons to his base, the Infinity Castle.
